Tried this recipe today and it was awesome! My family loved them esp the soft and melt in your mouth texture for the cookie. I felt it was a tad sweet though; will reduce sugar slightly the next time! Love them thank you very much!

Ahh yes few yrs ago i worked in a indian resturant and this is how we use to make it we also used milkshake syrup in it for flavour, very yummy

What is the purpose of the baking paper, and the cut strips on the rectangular piece? What purpose does the second piece serve? Will it now come out of the pan without it?
