How Bazaar

nvtech_hous1394 I just wanted to report that after two rounds of bidding, my friend and I finally got a space at the Tanglin Mall 2nd hand Fashion Bazaar! Yippee! I get to clear out my closet!

If you’d like to check out our wares or just come give us a smile, we’ll be peddling our stuff (a lot of nice stuff!) on the outskirts of Tanglin Mall on Sat 21 March 09 from 3-11pm.

And for those keen on flea markets, here’s a listing of flea markets that I pulled off the net:

    Dear Mrs Multitasker,

i love your blog!! =) Although I wonder how u have enough hours in the day to maintain a blog. I suppose that is why you’re MRS MUltitasker!!??!

Read ur blog about the Bazaar.

I’m warning u about downside from setting up bazaars with friends. At my bazaar, my co bazaar founders and I ended up looking at each other’s stuff and were like OHhhhh i like this and that … So we ended up buying each other’s stuff!! LOLOLOLOL

After a while we had to implement a ban that we could NOT buy from each other more than the number of pieces we had sold

Otherwise it wouldn’t solve our closet problem!!! LOLOLOL.

So prepare yourself for that!! or have a bazaar with someone whose taste in clothing u hate! Hehehehehehe

One more thing, if u have given each other presents, figure out if those are fair game. it is not good for bazaar business to have the owners yelling about whether they still love each other.

    Happy Bazaaring!!

Thanks Clothesmad Gal =) I shared your advice with my friend and we had a good laugh over it. We are now resolved to not buy each other’s stuff!

    hi hi mrsmultitasker,

good work there! keep it up! wish to update the list on your compilation: Lime flea market and timbre flea market are no more.

currently there is a new regular flea market organised by Sculpture Square and Calamine Solutions on every 2nd weekend on the month.

It is called the H.E.A.R.T. market (handicrafters, entrepreneurs, artists and retail talent market). It advocates youth entrepreneurship and charity awareness. more details on http://www.calaminesolutions.com/the_h_e_a_r_t_market.html .

Hope u can help spread the word :) Thanks and happy multi-tasking!!

      Dear Calamine,
Thanks very much for the update! Readers, please note: NO MORE LIME FLEA MARKET AND TIMBER FLEA MARKET!
And the H.E.A.R.T. market looks wonderful. What a great idea to merge it with a meaningful cause. Everybody, go to the H.E.A.R.T. market!
